Nigerian Government Fine Arise TV, Channels And AIT N9m For Covering The #EndSARS Protest Saga
Millions of Nigerians who support the campaign to end the Federal SARS #EndSARS, has come all out to defend, the only Media house who was bold enough to cover the night the alleged shooting that took lives of unarmed peaceful protesters were shot dead and many left with critical gun wounds.

Africans will hardly forget the genocide the army personality displayed ( according to the live videos shown by eye witness who were on protest ground to protest the nigh that the shoot was Lively reported by several instagramers.

None of the Nigerian top media houses were seeing on ground during this incident, due to order given to them by the Federal Government which stated that; no media house should cover the protest, in Lagos that night.

But unfortunately, one of the new News/TV Media houses ARISE TV, took the risk to do what was right by
covering the incident LIVE even after given order that no media should cover during that period.
Today They Are Being Fined alongside Channels and AIT for disobeying the order.

The National Broadcasting Commission has fined Channels Television, AIT and Arise TV over alleged ethical infractions during the #EndSARS protests and the crisis that followed it.

NBC Acting Director-General, Prof Armstrong Idachaba, disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja on Monday.

Idachaba said the affected media houses were fined N3,000,000 each for flouting the provisions of the Nigerian broadcasting code.

He warned that any station that continued to broadcast hate and inciting comments that threaten the security of the country would be shut down.
