GIST: Drake Breaks Another Billboard Record As First Solo Artiste With More Than 200 Billboard Hot 100 Appearance.

Billboard confirmed that the OVO Sound founder has become the first solo artist to have at least 200 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 song chart. This confirmation was announced on On Monday (Aug. 12).

After gifting his fans with his Care Package compilation album last week, six songs from Drake’s project debuted on the chart. The addition of the six tracks—”Trust Issues” (No. 58), “How About Now” (No. 60), “The Motion” (No. 61), “Dreams Money Can Buy” (No. 68), “Club Paradise” (No. 85) and “Days in the East” (No. 95)—put his grand total at 203.

The record includes some of his most popular loosies from over the years, so it’s no surprise it’s done well. Prior to Drake, the only other artists who have surpassed 200 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 is the cast of FOX’s Glee, which currently holds the record after appearing on the chart 207 times.
