
Candidates who applied for recruitment into the Nigerian Army 80 Regular Recruit Intake (RRI) have been advised to check the list of successful candidates shortlisted for screening. The army disclosed on Twitter on Tuesday, December 1, that the shortlisted applicants would be required to attend a screening exercise on December 2.

Meanwhile, the federal government through the Ministry of Interior has given an update on the ongoing recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. It also disclosed that the CBAT for the recruitment for the NSCDC will hold on the 8th of December across all the 36 states of the federation and Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Candidates are advised to check their email addresses and phone numbers for notification and venue for CBAT from 6pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. In another news, the Nigerian government has announced the increase in the number of beneficiaries of National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP), to accommodate more unemployed youth. Vanguard reported that the minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, made the disclosure on Monday, November 30, at a ministerial press conference in Abuja.
She reportedly disclosed that President Buhari raised the number of the beneficiaries of the programme which included the Home-Grown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP), N-Power, Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) and Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), to accommodate more beneficiaries.
