Manchester City are preparing a massive bid for Bayer Leverkusen’s dazzling winger Leon Bailey following his impressive form this season so far.

Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea are also desperate in landing the 22-year-old Jamaican international as reports from Germany say the youngster is interested in moving to England.

With Pep Guardiola unable to convince Leroy Sane to extend his contract with the Etihad side, City boss is now said to be in hot chase of Bailey.

It was gathered that Sane rejected an extension to his contract on multiple occasions and he has been out of action since he featured in the Community Shield back in August.

Bayern Munich are ready to offer Sane £50million to join the Bundesliga champions as they have made several efforts to land the German.

City could come out with a net gain of around £10m if they offload Sane, as Bailey may be available for a fee in the region of £40m.

Bailey is competent on either flank and has bagged five goals and three assists in 20 Bundesliga appearances this season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal play-maker Mesut Ozil took to social media on Thursday, June 18, to make his feelings known after being left out of the matchday squad against Manchester City a day earlier.

Despite being fully fit, the German international seemed to not be in Mikel Arteta’s plans for the day as the Gunners succumbed to a lowly 3-0 defeat at the Etihad.

However, Ozil was in assuring mood on Thursday as he went on Instagram to pledge his loyalty to Arsenal, amid speculation over his future. While sharing a photo holding the Arsenal badge, Ozil wrote, “No matter what.”

“I think Odion Ighalo has been one of the most positive surprises ever because he has been a revelation at the club and everybody has come to like him,” Peter Schmeichel explained according to Goal.
